“Since March, COVID-19 has significantly impacted our society and livelihood. We appreciate all those on the frontlines of this crisis, and we are pleased to honor healthcare workers with our Essential Car Care program during this time.

After careful assessment, Mazda Motorsports will be postponing the MX-5 Cup Series events previously planned for the month of June. Impacted events include the Series Test at Mid-Ohio on June 9 will be rescheduled for July 1 and the race at Road America from June 19-21 will be rescheduled for July 23-26.

As we evaluate upcoming events, we will remain in close contact with our teams and partners, listening to their concerns and comfort levels. It is most important we care for our people first, and we’re eager to return to racing when the time is right for Mazda.”
