For 2024, CX-30 gains additional packaging options, such as the introduction of the new 2.5 Carbon Turbo model, along with technological upgrades, like the inclusion of USB-C inputs and a newly available 10.25-inch large center display with touchscreen Android Auto and Apply CarPlay functionality to further improve the ownership experience.

Mazda’s commitment to safety can be seen in the continual evolution and development of our driver assistance and safety technologies. All 2024 CX-30 models will feature Rear Seat Alert, which warns departing occupants that someone is still in the back seat. Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert is also now standard in CX-30. Along with that, CX-30 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus models also gain the newly available Cruising and Traffic Support technology that originally debuted in the first-ever 2024 CX-90 three-row crossover .

The standard CX-30 2.5 S features Mazda’s updated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter, four-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine. This efficient powertrain delivers 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque with any fuel grade and is paired with a quick-shifting six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and sport mode.

All CX-30 models are equipped with the latest i-Activ AWD which continuously monitors weight distribution and shifts power to the appropriate wheels, providing drivers a near instant response to inputs. In addition, all CX-30 models are equipped with G-Vectoring Control Plus and Off-Road Traction Assist as standard.

Standard i-Activsense safety features include Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Smart Brake Support, High Beam Control, and Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Rear Seat Alert and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Mazda Connected Services is complementary for three years, which provides the owner with the ability to monitor and control the state of the CX-30 remotely by logging into the MyMazda app and includes in-car Wi-Fi hotspot for three-months or 2GB trial, whichever comes first[1].

The well-appointed interior features an 8.8-inch center display with the latest Mazda Connect infotainment system that can be controlled with the multi-function commander knob and is integrated with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Mazda Navigation system in CX-30 2.5 S Premium has been upgraded for 2024 with an Off-Road Navigation feature which has additional map guidance for trail routes to appease the most adventurous drivers out there. This is further complemented by a 12-speaker Bose Premium Audio, SiriusXM satellite radio, black or white leather seats, a power liftgate, silver metallic 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, LED signature illumination headlights and taillights, and gloss black side accents.

The Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo four-cylinder engine produces 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque on premium 93 octane fuel, while on regular 87 octane fuel it produces 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.

Building off the idea of the Carbon Edition, CX-30 2.5 Carbon Turbo features unique exterior and interior styling features, now paired with ample turbocharged performance. The 18-inch alloy wheels sport a black metallic finish and are complemented by black side mirrors – which are heated, tilt in reverse and have memory positioning – along with a black signature grille, wing, and side garnish. This top-level package includes a 360° View Monitor with front and rear parking sensors, Rear Direction Base Safety, which includes Smart Brake Support-Rear and Rear Cross-Traffic Braking, and new for 2024 is the inclusion of Cruising and Traffic Support.
