IRVINE, Calif. (August 28, 2026) – Mazda partner, Miyu Yamashita delivered a historic victory at the LGPA Classic on August 23 at Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton, Alberta.
Yamashita made an 8-foot birdie putt on the par-4 18th for a 4-under 66 and 23-under 257 total.
“I’m very happy to earn my second win of the season at the CPKC Women’s Open. After the disappointment of the AIG Women’s Open, I was able to turn that experience into motivation and stay focused through the final round,” said Yamashita. “I’m also grateful to Mazda for supporting me throughout the season, including with a vehicle. I look forward to continuing this journey with Mazda and competing for more wins.”
Mazda wishes Yamashita continued success throughout the 2026 LPGA Tour season.
