Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following executive personnel changes, including Representative Directors, proposed to take effect on June 26 following the 152nd ordinary general meeting of shareholders and the subsequent meeting of the board of directors.

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported total April U.S. sales of 23,056 vehicles, representing a decrease of 4.6 percent versus April of last year. Year-to-date (YTD) sales through April are up 14.8 percent versus last year, with 107,051 vehicles sold. With 24 selling days in April 2018, versus 26 the year prior, the company posted an increase of 3.4 percent on a Daily Selling Rate (DSR) basis.

Kelley Blue Book announced Mazda as the winner of two 2018 Brand Image Awards for “Best Performance Brand” and “Best Car Styling Brand.” This is Mazda’s second consecutive year for the “Best Car Styling Brand” award, while it is the first time Mazda has earned “Best Performance Brand.”

The 2019 Mazda CX-5 compact crossover SUV and MX-5 Miata sports car earned top honors in the New York Daily News’ 2018 Daily News Autos (DNA) Awards, as chosen by its editors.
