The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) noted in its most recent Light Duty Fuel Economy Trends report that Mazda Motor Corporation is the most fuel-efficient auto manufacturer in the U.S.

Effective December 15, 2015, Mazda North American Operation’s delivery and destination charges have increased in the U.S. to $835 for cars and $900 for CUVs ($880 and $945 in Alaska, respectively). The 2015 Mazda CX-9 will continue to carry a $880 fee.

Mazda chose to debut four of the new 2016 Global MX-5 Cup cars in the always-brutal NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill race, equal to 33 1/3 45-minute Battery Tender MX-5 Cup races, far in excess of a normal race season.
