Adding to an already impressive accolade collection, the 2017 Mazda6 has achieved The Car Book’s 2017 BEST BETS distinction in the 37th edition of America’s longest-standing consumer car-buying guide. Mazda6 was rated in nine categories: crash tests, safety features, rollover, preventative maintenance, repair costs, warranty, fuel economy, complaints and insurance.
Each year, the Center for Auto Safety and The Car Book analyze the new cars and select The Car Book’s BEST BETS for the American car buyer. The Mazda6’s full suite of i-ACTIVSENSE technologies allowed it to perform well in the categories, providing today’s consumer with a smart and sensible vehicle option in the sedan segment. Standard and available features on the Mazda6 include Smart Brake Support, Smart City Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Mazda Radar Cruise Control, Distance Recognition Support, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High-Beam Control with auto-adjusting LED headlights and the new-for-2017 Lane-Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition.
In terms of cabin safety, Mazda6 comes standard with head and torso airbags in both rows as well as front airbags for the driver and front passenger. Mazda6 is available from a starting MSRP[1] of $21,945.
