Mazda North American Operations Executives

Theresa Barrera is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Mazda North American Operations (MNAO). In her role, she oversees human resources, real estate, facilities and administration for MNAO.

With more than 15 years of experience in human resources, Barrera works directly with MNAO leadership and senior management to develop strategic goals and solutions that further optimize the people, structure, processes and culture at MNAO.

Barrera joined MNAO in 2010 and has served in various capacities within human resources. Prior to MNAO, she spent seven years with Avail Medical Products, a privately-held leader in disposable medical devices. During her time there, Barrera held multiple positions with recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management and training.

Barrera holds an associate degree in social and behavioral science and a certification in human resource from University of Phoenix.

Barrera currently resides in Southern California.
