Mazda accepted the “Red Dot: Best of the Best” prize for the all-new Mazda MX-5 on 29 June at a gala ceremony in front of some 1,200 guests at the Aalto Theatre in Essen, Germany.

Mazda North American Operations today welcomed the first shipment of the all-new 2016 MX-5s. They will begin their port processing procedures and deliveries will follow in the next several weeks.

The central feature of the annual motoring event is a spectacular 40-metre high sculpture in front of Goodwood House featuring two Mazda racers bursting into the sky on a twisting track of steel beams.

The third-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata is finishing up its model run on a high note, as it was recently awarded top honors in its segment for J.D. Power’s annual Initial Quality Survey (IQS) for the sixth year in a row.

The American Red Cross today recognized Mazda North American Operations (MNAO), headquartered in Irvine, California, for its support of Red Cross disaster response work through the Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP).
